I’m sure many of you would agree with me that there really is nothing better than a big sweaty man in rugby gear, Beautiful to look at and beautiful to touch! Don’t you sometimes just see a picture or a clip of a rugby player in a scrum and just wish you were the guy behind with your face between his thighs?
It’s a common fantasy, and it would probably work well as the basis of club night. So I’m very happy to say that it is indeed the basis of probably the hottest monthly club night I have ever attended! Enter, The Big Scrum:
Fantasize no longer! The night is hosted at Legends night club Manchester, Discounted entry and free shots all night for anyone in sports gear, and it doesn’t just have to be rugby, any sports gear will do! trust me it’s not a night to miss, I went to the last Scrum on March the 17th, and it was probably the best night out I have had in quite some time.
So my night went like this: Start at REM bar for Pre-Scrum drinks, I’v brought my best friend whose first time it is to such an event. We get stamped and we sit and socialize with a friend of mine from Facebook and some of his friends (it has to be said at this point point that Facebook friend, Facebook friends boyfriend, and Facebook friends two other friends are all rather hot… not that looks are all that matter of course… just an added bonus 
). During my few drinks I notice the amount of people in sports gear steadily rising, theres definatly a thing for rugby here, but thats not suprsising, have you ever typed “hot rugby players” into Google images? no? Go do it… NOW
And so on to the main event, Down a flight of stairs, greeted by several men in gear and then on into a bustling club full of hot men in rugby gear… You know as soon as you walk in its gonna be a good night, and you know your not going anywhere else. I gota admit, earlier on in the day I had worried wether we would want to go elsewhere that night as well, and what we would do as I was in almost full gear, and didnt really fancy stepping into Queer or G-A-Y dressed like a Chavy Rugby wannabe. These worrys were washed away in Legends, there was no way I was going any where else. The reason? quite simple: hot men in sports gear, plus free shots, plus loud awesome music and friendly company = A VERY HAPPY HORNY CUB.
Throw in to that equation the part when people started taking their shirts of, and the part where I got kissed by several really hot guys who were way out of my league… I was bouncing around grinning ear to ear!
But why else does this night work besides the alcohol and hot men? Well its the people, everyone is there for one reason and that’s to have a good time, there no arguments or fights, no underlying politics. There was no bitchiness and prancing scene queens like you would get at a lot of other club nights, It was just men being men enjoying men.
Of course one potential problem of this night is that with all this hotness and alcohol flying about, your gonna get the horn, and that can be rather hard to hide when your wearing baggy sports shorts… the answer? A dark room, well placed near the bar, and overflowing with men all night. I simply cant think of much else you need for an awesome night!
So I guess all that’s left to say is this, If you are a man, who enjoys the company of men, doing manly things accompanied with good music and alcohol, then you need to get to The Big Scrum. TRUST ME. JUST GO. GET YOUR RUGBY TOP ON. AND JUST GO.
